Privacy

Your files stay yours

Documents live in Paperfolio’s private storage on your phone or tablet. We do not automatically sync them to our servers. If you use device or cloud backup from your OS vendor, app data may be included according to your backup settings. Deleting a document in Paperfolio removes our copy on the device—it does not remove files you already saved elsewhere.

What Paperfolio is (and isn’t)

We’d rather be clear than oversell.

Paperfolio is for: receipts, notes, forms, and everyday papers you want as a PDF on your phone or tablet.

This release does not include:

  • OCR or searchable text inside scanned PDFs
  • Automatic cloud backup or account sync through Paperfolio
  • A guarantee that files outside the app are removed when you delete inside the app
